What should be done to better the performance of science subjects in schools?
Teachers and students should in unison try to find out the common reasons that contribute to poor performance in science subjects which according to me may include but not limited to poor methodology in science education, negative attitude towards science subjects among students and lack of resources such as text books and well equipped laboratories.Schools should focus on applied science teaching rather than theoretical teaching. The schools should embrace science fields career guidance sessions for students.
What advice do you give to students who would wish to borrow a leaf from you?
Self-determination is key. They should also constantly seek advice and clarification from their teachers, regarding their academic journey.
