Ever since the curriculum changed from knowledge –base to skill –based (competency-based) as a school we have been able to adopt and implement it effectively. As teachers we have been equipped through external and internal workshops with thorough knowledge of the NLSC.So far our pioneer learners are in S.3 which means that the NLSC covers the first three classes of Ordinary Level. The New Curriculum Learners have benefited so much from it in terms of skills e.g. critical thinking, problem solving, cooperation, team work. Learners have also developed their talents in leadership, presentation. Learners have been able to make many products of projects to solve problems. Learners have acquired values and attitudes e.g. respect for humanity and environment, social harmony, hard work for self-reliance among others, therefore recommend the NLSC as appropriate in equipping learners with the 21st century skills needed in the world of work that is competitive.
